EU and UK officials are set to resume talks on Wednesday morning ahead of a key summit on Thursday.
Following talks that ran into the early hours of Wednesday morning, representatives for the European Union and the United Kingdom will meet once again in a bid to reach a deal as Brexit negotiations enter a critical stage.As such, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson faces a race against the clock despite Downing Street's insistence that the most recent set of talks proved"constructive".
As has been the case throughout the Brexit process, the issue of the Irish border remains the sticking point. On Tuesday, Johnson met with leaders of the DUP and Conservative Brexiters of the European Research Group in an attempt to achieve a solution on the border problem.
