'Dark cloud' hangs over Cork community after death of teen in tragic crash

A Cork community is struggling to come to terms with the tragic death of teenage girl Kimberly O'Connor in a crash on Wednesday night.

The whole community have been left shocked by the tragic incident and are hoping the boys pull through, Cork Beo reports. Kimberly's devastated family today spoke of their grief, saying: "Our lives are shattered today and it's difficult to put into words how we are feeling. "Our Kimberly had a bright future, and was a very kind and generous person, who was loved by so many people."

"It is very, very sad, awful for everyone waking up to that news this morning, everyone in the community is shocked.
