The Government is expected to sign off on moving to the second phase of easing coronavirus restrictions when it meets on Friday.
The Government is also considering accelerating Ireland’s exit from lockdown with the possibility that some pubs will open earlier than planned and the total lifting of travel restrictions is being discussed.said on Thursday night that “all the indicators look good” in relation to moving to the next phase of easing restrictions.
The opening of larger retail stores is to be brought forward and will see some bigger shops open from next Monday, thoughA number of other measures may also be accelerated including the lifting of the travel limit altogether. The 20km limit was initially intended to apply until the end of phase 3 on July 20th, when people would be allowed travel around the country, but it is now expected to be lifted on June 29th, at the end of phase 2.
Thankfully they are starting to listen.
Yes good idea - Ironic dublin has the highest rates covid in the country so let’s start opening the pubs there first as the experiment - see how the dubs like it
Good, people need to get out drinking, fighting and riding. It’s in irish culture to do all those in large doses
More brain dead solutions. Do they think people who live in areas where their pubs don’t have restaurant licenses aren’t going to just flock in to the places which do?
jimmytwotimesx2 jjjjiiimmmmmyyyyy!!!
Keep pubs shut for rest of the year.
Businesses, restaurants, shops, hairdressers etc...I can see valid arguments being made for opening some or all of these early but there is no logical argument for opening pubs
20km limit 😂😂😂
