An Irish-born MP today spoke about a landmark case involving Margaret Keane, whose family are being prevented from using five words as Gaeilge. “Her family have said she is in their hearts forever – in ár gcroíthe go deo – and the entire Irish community in Britain feel the same way,” said Conor McGinn from Newry, who is a Labour MP for a West Midlands constituency in England.

Baby leaves hospital after ten weeks of Covid treatment

A baby boy who was admitted to a hospital in the Spanish city of Valencia with Covid-19 just nine days after he was born has been discharged 70 days later, to the applause of medics.
