The all-island figure for coronavirus cases now stands at 3,148

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the island of Ireland now stands at over 3,000 after the latest Northern Ireland figures.

Another person with dreaded Covid-19 has died in Northern Ireland - it was announced on Monday afternoon.Read More Coronavirus Ireland The Public Health Agency's latest statistics, accurate as of this morning also show that an additional 123 have tested positive for the contagious disease since yesterday.On Sunday night the total amount of deaths in the the Republic of Ireland rose to 46 with 2,615 confirmed cases in the Republic.

“We know the virus will not survive if we prevent it from passing among ourselves. The enhanced restrictions announced on Friday aim to slow down and restrict the spread of the virus.”
