It has been confirmed that the demand for electricity has reduced by more than 7.5% since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Fianna Fáil's Barry Cowen, who is directly involved in the negotiations for Government, has said the implications of the decrease in electricity demand are very serious for workers in ESB and Bord na Móna.
