The veteran journalist and broadcaster was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in October, after struggling with symptoms that affected his voice.As the disease has progressed the last number of months, Charlie has now admitted that his voice is "almost" gone.
"Someone found this on Twitter recently," he wrote alongside the heartwarming clip. "I put it up a few years ago."But thankfully Tiger can still sing." Since Charlie's appearance on the show, a number of celebrities have pledged to join the broadcaster on Climb With Charlie, which is in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House.
They also said there has been a big improvement in his mood after he appeared depressed during his last appearance on the Late Late Show.
