Appeal for witnesses after man killed in Cork collision

He was the driver of a car that crashed into a ditch on the Cork to Kinsale Road shortly after 1pm today.The driver of the truck was uninjured but was treated for shock.

The road was closed for a time to allow forensic collision investigators to conduct an examination of the scene, however the road has since reopened. Gardaí are appealing to any road users who travelled on the road prior to the collison and who may have dash cam footage, to contact Togher Garda Station on 021 4947120, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
