Former Ireland winger Shane Horgan suggested it may already be time to replace Farrell after one year in the hot-seat

Andy Farrell has brushed off scathing criticism from Shane Horgan and Chris Ashton in the wake of Ireland's loss to England last weekend.

"Well, obviously they are more than entitled to their opinion," said Farrell, who was speaking at his team announcement for the Georgia game next Sunday.“Nobody gave us a chance when we went to England anyway and then we come away with an 18-7 loss when we all know what happened within the game."One of the experiences of sticking to the task etc is always a good one going forward because these are the priceless experiences you take from playing in the big games.

Andrew Conway was also not available for selection due to a hamstring niggle since the start of the week, while Ed Byrne is ruled out with a calf injury. "He has been in with us for a couple of weeks now and obviously been involved off the bench so this is an opportunity to grab a hold of the teamand the game.
