Dáithí O'Sé is making the most of his time away from RTÉ by enjoying some quality time with his son Ógie.
Now that the eight year old has finished school for the year the pair have made the journey from their South Galway home to Dáithí's homeplace of Dingle, County Kerry.
They wasted no time in hopping in the car and heading for the famous Irish holiday hotspot.
Already, they have been playing GAA with the local club, sampling the cuisine in the Dingle Bay Hotel and checking out the aquarium.
Dáithí wrapped up the 10th season of The Today Show last month as he and his co-hosts Maura Derrane and Sinead Kennedy signed off for the summer.
