A door fell off an Irish Air Corps helicopter into the grounds of a secondary school in Dublin.

The helicopter, which is part of the emergency air service, was on its way back to Casement Aerodrome in Baldonnel just before 6pm when the rear door detached and fell into Moyle Park College, in Clondalkin.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Gardaí arrived at the scene and returned the helicopter door to the Air Corps.
