Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone is facing a 180-day suspension following his UFC 246 loss to Conor McGregor .
The former UFC title challenger was defeated by McGregor in just 40 seconds in the Las Vegas bout, in which McGregor walked away unscathed in a triumphant return to the octagon after over a year away, Mirror UK reports .
Cerrone suffered damage from kicks, punches and three shoulder strikes during the onslaught from the Notorious one, who improved his 22-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC record.
As well as McGregor, six other fighters on the UFC 246 card walked away suspension-less and so won't now be mandated to sit out a period of time.
Co-main event fighters Holly Holm and Raquel Pennington are among those six, while Maycee Barber faces 180 days out after an ACL tear suffered against Roxanne Modafferi.
