The star-studded cast
With such an impressive and talented cast, Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of the famous novel by Louisa May Alcott could be a great one. With a cast featuring Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, and Saoirse Ronan (playing Jo), we’re already anticipating a great film. The strong female actresses will be embodying the heroines of this family epic, which tells the story of an American family in Massachusetts during the Civil War. With Laura Dern, Meryl Streep, and Timothée Chalamet on the bill, the young director Greta Gerwig is setting the bar high. The film is slated for U.S. release in December 2019, while French spectators will have to wait until the following month in order to see the highly anticipated picture.
