The Metro Vancouver Regional District said smoky conditions are expected to make a comeback on Thursday and Friday. Conditions are forecast to worsen overnight, with the air quality health index rising to five and six, considered moderate risk, in Metro Vancouver. The region issued an air quality advisory last week due to high concentrations of high particulate matter from wildfire smoke burning throughout B.C. That advisory was rescinded on Tuesday.
