Provincial court in Corner Brook. - SaltWire Network File PhotoCORNER BROOK, N.L. — A west coast teen who admitted to others that he pushed a girl he had been dating into a wall and banged her head against a table has been convicted of assault.
She said B got upset when she stood up to answer the call and, while she was talking, he grabbed her head and banged it against the wall and then the table. I, a friend of B’s, testified that sometime after the incident B was at her house and that B told her mother what he did to X. I testified she had posted about the incident on social media, but X had not confirmed it occurred. I said she had received death threats because of it.
