Three executives from shipping and business supply firm Uline Inc. flew to Toronto on a private jet and visited the company's facility in Milton, Ont. without quarantining.

Last Updated Thursday, September 17, 2020 6:56PM EDTOTTAWA -- Public Safety Minister Bill Blair says executives of an American supply company did not receive quarantine exemptions from the Canadian government and "should not have been permitted" to enter the country.

A federal order-in-council dictates that there are only five individuals who can issue such an exemption: Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam, Health Minister Patty Hajdu, Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino, Foreign Affairs Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne and Public Safety Minister Bill Blair.Blair took to Twitter on Thursday to say that the government had not issued any exemptions in this case.

"A decision was made by officers based on the information provided. Entry should not have been permitted.""It is important that Canadians continue to have confidence in the integrity of our border. We are working with the CBSA to ensure that similar cases do not occur again," he said in a tweet."There should be one rule for all the people, it doesn't matter who you are, I don't care if you have 50 cents or you have $10 billion.

The Trudeau “Liberals” spend an awful lot of time apologizing for their incompetence and lies. No accountability and people making excuses for them constantly doesn’t provide much incentive for them to change.

Consumer price index in August hits 0.1 per cent, Statistics Canada saysStatistics Canada says the consumer price index in August was up 0.1 per cent compared with a year ago. It’s misleading - our purchases have changed. CPI hadn’t. The stuff we need to purchase now is very different than what we needed to purchase this time last year. Low gas prices mean nothing sunce we aren’t driving but gas prices are a major component of CPI formula. Doesn't make sense ... grocery store prices have risen much more than that, and it seems like housing has as well.

Canada reports 792 new coronavirus infections as global cases near 30 millionProvincial health authorities also said nine new deaths associated with COVID-19 had occurred. Wreckless media putting out single stats without context. How does that compare to 2019? What % only died of the virus without other major health complications? Truth, this virus isn’t worth the media’s time to even report on when it has a 99.98% survival rate. But the recovery is still 99.% Again Quebec less likely to follow the rules ... greatest per capita infections and significantly higher death/100,000 than ROC.. also 800/day in Canada vs 10,000/day in France which has only 75% more people
