“We work hard to keep people from needing a bed at the shelter ,” said THOS board member Julie Taylor who has taken on the role of fundraising chair for this year’s CNOY event.
Truro’s numbers as of Feb. 12 were 56 walkers, 18 teams, and 27 volunteers. The local fundraising goal is $30,000 and it’s at 22 per cent of that raised with 13 days left before the event.
