UPDATED PM Trudeau promises update on blockades as Wet'suwet'en chiefs meet Mohawk supporters cdnpoli

Last Updated Friday, February 21, 2020 12:31PM ESTOTTAWA -- Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in a meeting of his emergency-response team in Ottawa.

A notice telling police and reporters to stay away says the gathering is to celebrate friendship, healing, peace and optimism, and to talk politics. The hereditary Wet'suwet'en leaders say they're willing to talk with representatives of the Crown, but only after the RCMP and Coastal GasLink workers have left their traditional lands.

Trudeau has been under increasing pressure to end the blockades, with Conservatives calling for the government to use force, while the Liberal government insists peaceful negotiations are the only way to a lasting solution.

Watch out the ass hole is going to have a bowl movement looks like.

4/5’s of their community support the new pipeline & others. Apparently that counts for nothing to the far left politicians like little 🥔.

Um, ER, HMM, ah, .........................

The End of the Trudeau Govt is near.

There should be no update on the blockades, the blockades should be gone. The Prime Minister and his cabinet should be in BC dealing with this. I guess this lack of leadership will be evident to Canadian voters.

No one believes anything he says so why even say anything

Step DOWN ,you are an EMBARRASSMENT to Canada.

Mr Trudeau you have once again failed as a leader. Conciliatory and apologetic mantra of the flaky kind. 80% of the voters want action not your excuses. How many more workers were laid off today? Trudeau raised as a trust fund kid and it shows once again.

Canadians are loosing billions of dollars WAKE up TRUDEAU grow some balls through these blockade people in jail there wrecking Canada or step down and let someone that can take charge .

It's all about money

And his update is...There are still blockades and he feels badly, show tear start face, then rush off to his next rich meeting.

Daily or twice-daily updates are NO longer adequate. Move the rebels out, JustinTrudeau, and put them in jail if they resist! Time to get tough is NOW.

Center focus to steer his audience away from the other protests on the way and the project costs and over runs.

More lies

Hurrah mush mush imo

Why is this a news thing right now.....same old response....😒

This is going to cost a f ing fortune.

Don't show up in Native Dress, Don't show up in Native Dress, Don't show up in Native Dress, you can do it

Nothing of any susbstance will be a accomplished as long as they continue to ignore the entire Wetsu’wet’en First Nation community Meeting the demands of the protesters is not reconciliation Respecting the majority of the Wetsu’wet’en First Nation community is a start though

I presume that update won't take very long...

RESIGN!

Everyday is a new promise.

Trudeau promises update on blockades as Wet’suwet’en chiefs meet with Mohawk supportersThe rail blockade, and others like it across the country, went up after the RCMP enforced a court injunction against the Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs and supporters, forcing them off an access road to a worksite for the Coastal GasLink pipeline Update will be he and the clowns are working very hard. , Empty promises by a spineless coward who wants his own energy sector to fail. Absolutely appalling. Tyendinaga mohawks shouldn't have any say in this its not effecting them they are always protesting about something , cut their power off, stop trucks with propane and gas going into the reserve , they will go home ! And before anyone says anything yes I'm native !

Wet'suwet'en chiefs to spend Friday with Mohawk supporters in OntarioA group of hereditary leaders from the Wet'suwet'en Nation in British Columbia is to spend the day with Mohawk supporters in Ontario. Meanwhile China is stealing all of our intellectual property and growing their economy with leaps and bounds. Canada is experiencing ideological subversion from paid foreign interest to destabilize our economy from within. I wonder what the outcome of the emergency response team will be? A response? All they are doing is garnering contempt and disgust, not support.

Can we please have the time and route of their travels? Asking for a friend.
