But experts say it will be a long road to progress as politicians and police navigate an already strained relationship with Indigenous groups. Over the weekend, Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller visited the railway blockade in Tyendinaga Mohawk territory, near Belleville, Ont., where he said he made “modest” progress after a day-long meeting with the Mohawk Nation.

Stone, who spent the weekend reporting from the Belleville blockade, noted that police are being careful with how they engage with protesters. Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has criticized the Liberal government’s response, suggesting that the government should order the RCMP to put an end to the blockades.

Yes, it's a meeting of might mouse and his merry mouse's! Now what will they, come on down to the blockade and serve Juices to the people and tell them it's Ok to disrupt all the other people who obey the law.

Bahahaha, did he bring his crayons?

Must be urgent, only took ten days.

Yes finally! It should've been resolved QUICKLY on DAY 1🙄🙄

It lasted 1.5 hours. The rest of the time he was bitching that he wasn’t in Barbados

All 20 elected Aboriginal leaders affected by the pipeline have approved the pipeline. Apparently mob rule prevails in Canada. Some think they're so morally superior they don't have to follow the law and court orders. Expect more groups to ignore the law if nothing is done.

Well Quebec cried jump and JustinTrudeau said how highand Quebec said cancel your trip

Why ?

And here is an inside look

Ok, so when is he resigning?

Oh please resolve this issue

He finally woke up after pandering for the UN Security Council seat.

Not to lead. Just have another meeting.

Liberal Government entering the meeting with no solution.

End the protests immediately. They are hurting our economy. They can protest on other lands, not on railway lines.

Oh did those nasty protesters interrupt the current Zoolander tour of Africa and blow as many politicians as possible for UN seat. What a pathetic little boy in an adult world.

Why would it take more than 5 minutes to say lets have some more meetings with them?

Wow... i feel so much better knowing that JT and his crack team of the “incidents response group” is handling this!

Come on guys. Give a report. What is the plan here ?

Tons of stories about the blockades. Not 1 about why they are protesting in the first place. That seems like a big part of info needed by canadians to make an informed opinion on the subject. If ppl understood why they r protesting maybe they wouldnt be so outraged.

Maybe he was watching W5 last night and realized his father had a back-bone when dealing with the FLQ crisis and Justin just might need to grow one himself.

Funny how quickly the rail strike was ended. BTW legislation was in the works before it even started.

Hope the militia attended this 'emergency meeting' and got instructions. Only way to put down a rebellion when the national economy is at stake. Need to 'man-up' here, JustinTrudeau ! We've had enough talk.

Trudeau takes one whole hour out of his permanent vacation to deal with the country he forgot to represent for the last four years...

What about the TTC... JustinTrudeau

Trudeau the useless puppet. Put these clowns in jail before ACTUAL tax paying citizens go deal with these goof activists ourselves

Was he actually there ?

Boo hoo he had to work today.

Did he buy donuts?

...and insists on installing 'Cow Catchers' on the front of trains.

The 'emergency meeting' was under 90 minutes and now over....
