Quinte West OPP have laid charges related to a threats investigation.

Police began investigating an allegation of threats on Adrian Court in Trenton last Friday at around 12:30 p.m. The next day, police spotted the accused walking on Sydney St. in Trenton and attempted to make an arrest. Police allege that the accused fled to a nearby apartment complex and refused to surrender himself to officers.One officer suffered minor injuries.Assault with intent to resist arrestMischief – four counts; andThe accused was held in custody and was scheduled to appear for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on
