On Friday, the Thunderbirds were ahead 10-8 with under three minutes to play. But Albany scored two late goals – including the game-tying marker with 33 seconds remaining – and then netted the overtime winner on Kieran McArdle’s fourth goal of the game in an 11-10 decision before a Thunderbirds-record 9,211 fans at Scotiabank Centre.
