Toronto man says Canada Post just delivered package he ordered 8 years ago
A Toronto man says Canada Post recently delivered to him a package that he ordered online nearly eight years ago.
Berinstein said he was initially confused because he hadn’t ordered anything from the e-commerce site in years. When he opened it, however, it all began to make sense.“I opened it and inside was an invoice from 2012 and it was a tube of Brylcream I ordered in 2012,” he told CTVNews.ca during a telephone interview on Tuesday.
“I started laughing because I thought it was pretty funny that it came eight years later.”At the time of his initial order, Berinstein said he had been living in Ottawa and the hair cream never arrived at his address there. He said he contacted Well.ca and they agreed to ship the product again to his home in Toronto because he thought it might be easier.
“It didn’t come again and I’m like ‘OK, this isn’t worth the headache’ so I just forgot about it,” he said.Berinstein said he didn’t follow-up with Canada Post to see if the national mail operator had received the item for delivery or if there was an accompanying tracking number.
He said he was experimenting with different hair products at the time and the cream was only $5 so he didn’t worry about it.In an email to CTVNews.ca on Tuesday, a Canada Post spokesperson said they would investigate the delivery further.“This is certainly a unique situation and we can only speculate at this point as to what may have happened,” the email read.
CTVNews.ca also reached out to Well.ca for information on Berinstein’s order, but did not hear back by the time of publication. While Berinstein found humour in the late delivery, and even shareda photo of the 2012 invoice on Reddit, he said the hair cream itself no longer appears to be usable.
“When I opened it, it was bright yellow, and when I Googled it, I’ve never used it before, it seemed like it was supposed to be white so I didn’t try it,” he explained.Berinstein said it’s unfortunate the hair cream appears to be past its prime because he’s overdue for a haircut as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and he could use a new styling cream.

Better late then never lol Better late than never Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds' .....🤣😂🤣😂🤣 8 years? Wow. He should've bought a CP Prime membership and gotten guaranteed TWO year delivery and free shipping.
Now that is impressive service! So there a hope for several letters and small packages lost last June? Canada Post’s response was that I should have my mail sent with a tracking number. IMO if they did the job right, I wouldn’t need to pay extra for a tracking number. Yeah.....not surprised CTVAtlantic Brylcream is actually yellow. Still good!
All those tax dollars are finally paying off Better late than never Not surprised. My express parcel was stuck in Mexico customs for a month. There might be hope for my Christmas parcel that didn’t arrive after all! Oh! I am suppose to receive something June 1st 'this year' 😩 If the box had toilet paper and hand sanatizer.. this couldn’t have been more well-timed! 😂😂😂

The box should read 'Well...' The words “DATE PENDING” are in my nightmares. I have been waiting WEEKS for very expensive Nikes I ordered online (because the stores are closed and SAULT STE MARIE DOES NOT HAVE A NIKE STORE)...... if my Nikes are lost, LAWSUIT!!!!!!!!

What's Coming And Going From Netflix Canada In JuneWe all really need a new season of 'Queer Eye' at a time like this.
Nearly 70 new coronavirus deaths in Canada as Ontario sees highest case jump since May 8Overall, Canada reported more than a thousand new cases and 69 new deaths, bringing national figures to 84,686 cases -- including more than 43,000 recoveries -- and 6,424 deaths. Seriously.. even more stories this has been like the 10th post I've seen on this. Give it a rest already. Nobody wants the tests. The virus is almost gone. People want to enjoy summer. This does not match the directive from the Chief Medical Officer yesterday. Communications to the public and the testing community should be the same.

Coronavirus pandemic drives home why Canada needs to loosen ties with China: former ambassador“We’ve got to take a much more active role and understand that things are changing (...) and part of that involves what could be referred to as decoupling,” said Mulroney China needs to submit to reason. It is causing civil war in China, not to mention the dictator disease train that stopped the world still in its tracks. Death after death. ya tink Our governments refuse to keep China from buying up our land, buildings, and businesses. Lets pay attention to that and not worry about Hong Kong.
