A Toronto house that made headlines last week for its unusual selling price of $1 has been sold.

The home, located at 28 Mackinac Crescent in the Danforth Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East area, was on the market for less than one week.

Toronto real estate agents have previously told CTV News Toronto that listing a home for $1 is a new tactic being used to attract bidders to the property.

If that’s all I can get for 1.2 million I will be totally depressed!

Wait for the sign touting the Realtors brilliance in selling for “1,199,000 over asking”

This is a lot of money compared to the median income of a couple living in Toronto. When will the Government do something about these crazy prices.

🇨🇳

Stupid money..thats how much

Something needs to be done about the Toronto real estate market, it is out of control. Middle class people who work for a million $ and can't afford a bungalow that costs $1 Million.

Unless the price takes more characters that there are in 'this is how much', this headline is obvious and shameless clickbait designed NOT to inform.

tldr version: - it sold for $1.2M - listing houses for $1 is a 'new marketing strategy' - previously listed in Oct & sold for $1.15M but sale was terminated - 2010 price = $320,00 - 2016 price = $990,000

Looks like a brick shithouse.

Toronto MP Kevin Vuong says social media and ‘political operatives’ want him to failToronto MP Kevin Vuong entered the House of Commons today to take his seat as an Independent MP Patrick Brown model? Arena pitfalls and pitbulls lol I love that this guy has convinced himself that his constituents elected him personally, not the party he represented, to the HOC. get a grip dude, they don't want you. It takes guts and an inflated ego to stick to your convictions whilst staying in the glare and scrutiny of social media. Maybe he thinks he can still go on to be Prime Minister! He's not Trump or rich enough and Canadians aren't stupid. KevinVuongTO
