The Toronto Raptors’ insane championship rings contain 640 diamonds, 17 rubies and the Toronto skyline

When longtime Raptor Kyle Lowry laid eyes on the team’s championship rings, he was shocked and knew everyone else would be, too.

“It’s the first one in the organization’s history and we wanted to make sure it would stand apart from every other ring that’s been done before. We’re the first team outside of the U.S. to have an NBA championship ring, so we were like, we can’t be like anyone else; we’ve got to be different because this is special.”

The face alone has 74 diamonds atop, outlining the Toronto skyline with the Larry O’Brien trophy right at the centre. It also contains the team’s “NORTH” chevron that they wore when they beat Golden State in Oakland. The 74 symbolizes the number of wins it took to earn Toronto a spot in the 2019 championships, with a large diamond at the centre of the Larry O’Brien trophy representing the team’s first NBA title in franchise history.

Inside the ring is a maple leaf with a red ruby at the centre, personalized messages for each player, and the series scores. Just think how much good the money spent on the ugly rings could have done for Northern Indigenous communities 😊
