When Ontario Provincial Police officers spotted a minivan so heavily laden that the tires almost touched the frame while it was travelling along Highway 401, they discovered a suspended driver making quite a beer run.
Lennox and Addington OPP officers seized 58 cases of brew when they stopped the westbound vehicle in Tyendinaga Township at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A 33-year-old North York man was charged with driving while under suspension and operating an unsafe vehicle, both under the Highway Traffic Act, and with unlawfully keeping liquor for sale under the Liquor Licence Act.Trending Videos See More Videos
