You know, the headline makes it sound like it was the school bus drivers fault, but I doubt it is. If it had been “tow truck collides with school bus”…. The school bus has very little damage when you compare it to the tow truck. School buses are built like tanks.

Shocking. I really feel it's time to put the belts on the bus. They are safe without one if there's an impact in the front or back but it was proven if hit side on they are not safe.

I used to work in insurance claims. Can't tell you how often a tow truck struck another vehicle rushing to get to a call and not stop. Just kept going hoping not to get caught.
Absolutely the school bus drivers are extremely well trained and equipped with safety training and safest drivers on road.
I don't remember this happening this frequently 6....7 years ago.
Who cares about the traffic. The 27 passenger s are more important.
I see daily, drivers don't know what to do when a transport truck is near, it's bigger than you therefore give them room! they need more lanes to turn & space.
