The Islanders are reportedly moving all of their home games to Nassau Coliseum next year.

‘ five-year tenure in Brooklyn appears to be up as of next month.

Newsday’s Randi F. Marshall reported Friday that New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo is expected to announce all Islanders home games in this year’s playoffs along with all of next yearCuomo is reportedly expected to make the announcement Saturday prior to New York’s afternoon game against the Boston Bruins.

The Islanders are in the midst of building a new arena in Belmont Park and move there in time for the 2021-22 season. New York’s home games have been split between the Nassau Coliseum and the Barclays Center over the last two seasons. A March 22 home game against the Carolina Hurricanes would bring an end to the team’s tenure in Brooklyn if this were to be the case.
