Paul Kieraszewicz initially got a real estate licence as something of a hobby, nothing more than a part-time gig separate from his main career in pharmaceuticals. But last December, he and everyone else at his Apotex Inc. clinic were laid off, and real estate became his full-time focus.

Not being able to handle rejection is just one of the many things that can discourage people from even taking the leap into real estate. Boo Hoo, so go do something else. Oh yeah, the pay checks are pretty good v s little effort.

Sadly only about one in twenty are competent. When I purchased 8 years ago I couldn’t believe how many were no shows, late or didn’t even know the basics of the property even though it was in the ad.

Not to mention the sneaking suspicion that you're overpriced and largely unnecessary.

Canada is a horrible place to do business now because of Trudeau. Massive debts... nobody has any money, but as a country we deserve the pain, we voted for it
