The Raptors have exercised a two-way option on Canadian forward Oshae Brissett.

Brissett, 21, signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Raptors after being passed over in June’s NBA draft.

The Mississauga, Ont., native averaged 3.5 points, two rebounds and 10.2 minutes in four pre-season games with the Raptors. Brissett turned pro after two NCAA seasons at Syracuse, where he averaged 13.7 points, 8.2 rebounds and 35.7 minutes over 71 career games. He has also represented Canada on the international stage, although a knee injury kept him from participating in September’s FIBA World Cup.

With this two-way conversion, the Raptors’ roster currently stands at the maximum of 15 players and one two-way contract. They’ll be able to add one more two-way contract to their roster if they so desire.More from Sportsnet
