His government has already tabled a bill that would allow relatives of Indigenous children who disappeared or died in health-care facilities to access information about their loved ones. Lafreniere said the government isn’t ruling out any potential actions in the future to ensure Indigenous families get answers, including holding a public inquiry if necessary.

It’s not up to them the RCMP should be doing it in every residential school in Canada. No delays.

The thing is they had better or canada said it will relinquish Quebec to the natives due to the amount of lands that are Native. That was an underlying threat

It's time to search all residential schools for unmarked graves, First Nations groups sayThe head of a First Nations organization in Saskatchewan says ground searches will soon be underway at the 22 residential schools in that province, as calls for similar efforts to take place across the country grow louder.
