Public Health Sudbury and Districts reported only one new COVID-19-related death this week. At the beginning of the week, PHSD removed four cases from the death count that had previously been reported at COVID-related, but for causes unknown.

With the one new death reported Wednesday, it means that the accumulated number of deaths since March of 2020 now sits at 193 as reported in the Friday summary. The health unit also reported that 20,950 of those cases have been resolved over that same period of time. Also, the majority of local cases — 6,849 — have occurred in the 20 to 39 year age group.

Battle brews between CRA and the auditor general over COVID program paymentsThe CRA broke with longstanding tradition of agreeing with all the auditor general's recommendations, saying they only 'partially agreed' It doesn't take a genius to know that our finances have been mismanaged. Thank-you AG for doing your job! For the CRA to contest the report is just more validation of the gaslighting the Liberals are noted for... 25 % of high school kids applied and got cerb without ever having a job. Unrecoverable. What could possibly go wrong when Canada dangles free money without checks and balances? Oops A good auditor general is worth their weight in gold to the Canadian public. Their toe nail clippings have more credibility to Canadians than the entire Liberal caucus.
