On Tuesday during Global News Hour at 6:30 p.m. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith will be making her first live provincial address.

“That could include bringing back the ending of the provincial gas tax, that could include utility rebates as well as possibly direct cheques to Albertans.”“Whether it be utilities, whether it be tuition, whether it be property taxes, whether it be car insurance, whether it be higher taxes due to failing to index — all those kinds of things, she needs to talk about how she will undo the UCP record of making things more expensive for families,” Rachel Notley said.

He suggests one option to finance these promises could be borrowing against the surplus Alberta is projecting for the spring of 2023. Besides affordability, Notley also wants Smith to delve deeper into the problems plaguing healthcare – but Bratt feels that’s unlikely.

Great going, Danielle.

Fantastic Danielle.

No thanks

4496 hours.

Will she bathe beforehand?

Danielle why is US still restricting non vaccinated Canadians from entering? All other countries are open with no restrictions? Why discrimination?

Keep talking Quanielle, Albertans aren’t buying your far right wing gibberish! The more you talk , Rachel gets another vote! You’ll be home in May! Hard to believe Quanielle is the best the ‘Cons’ had to offer Albertans!

She should be calling an election, to see if Albertans, not Cons, legitimately vote her in!

Prepare for grooming, Albertans.

will she wash her hair for this?

So we finally get to hear what the “O&G Lobby” whom is masquerading as a functioning government, has to say how they plan to rape and pillage AB resources, with a smiles & conspiracy theories. Awesome 😎

A live address that will be contrary to all the things she has said live over the past 10 years.

Don't care...

is she quitting? pleaseee

Oh look… *the rep from medhat* wants to blab her crazy wacko babble lies on live tv only so she can backtrack it all the next day. Thanks for the heads up - I’ll switch to animal planet instead. At least animals are honest. NeverVoteConservative DanielleSmithIsUnfitToLead

Canada lags behind its peers on foreign interference legislation: former CSIS officerGlobal News reporter Sam Cooper dropped a bombshell on Parliament Hill earlier this month when he reported that Canadian Security Intelligence Service officials warned the prime minister and several cabinet ministers in January about “a vast campaign of foreign interference” by China in the 2019 federal election. The revelations in Cooper’s story have made shockwaves in Canadian politics and abroad, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (Papineau, Que.) and People’s Republic of China President Xi Jinping clashing at the G20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, after it was reported that Trudeau brought up the interference in a previous private meeting with Xi. Also at the G20, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly (Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Que.) told reporters that “we won’t accept any form of meddling in our governments, in our elections, and we won’t tolerate any form of foreign interference in Canada.” But if the federal government is serious about preventing foreign entities from interfering in Canadian democracy, it should table legislation in Parliament, said national security specialist Michel Juneau-Katsuya, who served as a senior intelligence officer at CSIS from 1984 to 2000, and who on Nov. 29 will testify before PROC on Chinese foreign election interference. “We do not have a foreign-interference law that other countries, like the U.S., the United Kingdom, and Australia have that allows them to investigate and prosecute the people involved,” he told The Hill Times. As reported by Global News, the interference included the funding of at least 11 candidates running for both the Liberal and Conservative parties in 2019. About $250,000 was transferred through an unidentified member of Ontario’s legislature and a federal election candidate staffer, through a “clandestine network” affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and directed by China’s Toronto consulate, according to the Global News report. Further, CSIS warned about the placement of Chinese agents into MPs ChristopherGuly True! It’s why we have so much trouble exporting oil, exporting natural gas. If money is paid by foreign nations to have protestors delay our natural resource projects. They have waged white collar war on Canada. And our current leaders allow it for kickback funding. Corruption.
