Police watchdog called in after man dies following arrest in Delta

Police say the cab was stolen while two individuals were being loaded into the vehicle.Delta police say the driver then exited the taxi and engaged police.

The Independent Investigations Office of B.C., which investigates all officer-related incidents that result in serious harm or death, says the man reportedly produced weapons and suffered serious injuries during the course of his arrest.Police did not reveal what kind of injuries the man suffered or what caused them, nor did they reveal what type of weapons the man allegedly produced.
