But experts say it will be a long road to progress as politicians and police navigate an already strained relationship with Indigenous groups. Over the weekend, Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller visited the railway blockade in Tyendinaga Mohawk territory, near Belleville, Ont., where he said he made “modest” progress after a day-long meeting with the Mohawk Nation.

Stone, who spent the weekend reporting from the Belleville blockade, noted that police are being careful with how they engage with protestors. Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has criticized the Liberal government’s response, suggesting that the government should order the RCMP to put an end to the blockades.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

It’s more a PR group. No RCMP and no national defense.

He can’t seem to make up his mind - one day he says “we are a nation of the rule of law” the next day he tells the police NOT to enforce the law...what good will this idiot be...

What energency group?

And it has to be the people from all provinces and the demand of all levels of government to fix this. Enough. Or we can just continue to whine and do this again next year or the year after and so on and so on.

Finally!!!

I wish the whining would stop. No substance. Stop the blaming. This has been ongoing for eons and until all people join together to tell our governments to fix this once and for all it will continue to happen. PC. NDP. Liberal. All alike. All as one. The people have to demand it.

Did you mean a Chinese fire drill ?

How are indigenous going get there point a cross by freezing the Canadian economy. All there going do is bring chaos and anger 👿

Worst PM in Canadian history!.... won’t be long till a non-confidence vote at the rate this jerk off is going. All talk no action.

What if we changed LNG to Plant Based Gas? Plant base seems to be what all the hippies are into these days

My guess is it wil, be his typical manipulation Blame 'privilege' and 'we' while finding somewhere else to redirect blame instead of his own incompetence Meanwhile the wishes of the majority of hereditary chiefs and elected band councils who support the project will be ignored

Nothing will get done wth this loser apperently in charge!!!

Action not meetings. Useless, pathetic, weak PM.
