We need to care for the elderly with the same honour, care and love that we offer our newborns. Equivalent systems and supports must be in place. This is our common sense and our humanity.

It’s not a perfect solution, but sadly our hospitals are in crisis. Opening up beds, relieving nurses to do other duties is the lesser of two evils, where the other option is closing hospitals.

fordnation is heartless and cruel. He wants to move our seniors upto 70 kms. Some don't have the ability to visit them. Our seniors could die from isolation. Also, they will have to pay for the move, and should a closer LTC become available, they will have pay again

Do you prefer to have all the hospitals beds full of seniors not needing hospital care and no beds for people needing the care? Don’t forget a lot of these kids of the elderly do not visit their parents that often!

Just did the same to keep mom in my town. OLD building, super small rooms. Promised renovation and expansion in March 2021 by Ford, nothing has started.

This government is a disgrace.
