One of Ontario Premier Doug Ford's vehicles sits parked at the Ontario Legislature sporting a new licence plate in Toronto on Feb. 20, 2020.The Ontario government says it will temporarily distribute old versions of the province’s blue-and-white licence plates while it works to resolve visibility problems of the new blue-on-blue plates.
“We take these concerns seriously and together have put a plan in place to deliver an enhanced new plate,” Ms. Thompson said in a statement on Friday. NDP MPP Jennifer French said the government should not be issuing the blue-on-blue plates while the province works to fix the visibility issues.“They have known from the beginning that there was a problem,” she said. “The fact that they are knowingly continuing to distribute these problematic plates for another week is not acceptable.”
One thing I also noticed besides the fact they reflect light is 'Ontario' is so small you can only see the word when within a car length away.
All this $$$ for 'Blue' plates to serve Conservative vanity. Doug Ford should be hanging his head in embarrassment. I'm sure enough has been spent on these plates that the Teacher issue would be already solved or are we going to hire more US consultants for that too? fordnation
