Covid case counts are no longer valid, due to the Ontario government's covid testing cutback mandate. Less testing means less people getting infected. Good Lord.

These stats have zero credibility since tests are almost as difficult to find in Ontario as a politician who actually gives a shit about the people they get paid to represent.

Keep in mind that all of these numbers come from a days-old backlog of 96 000 samples. Even without testing over the past 3 days, numbers hover around record levels. We are heading towards an undeniable crisis, and we can only hope the fordnation government is ready.

If they are underestimated could they also be overestimated based on the estimating process? Perhaps best not to report any cases

How many cases do we really have? Due to inadequate testing, Multiply the number of cases found by PCR tests by 3 Found 16,714 Probably over 48,000 actual new cases (CBC: if they find 3,000 confirmed cases, the actual number could be closer to 10,000)

Case counts are extremely underestimated due to Ontario governments decision to not report cases anymore. Doesn’t mean they’re not huge. They don’t want us to know. We are like mushrooms…kept in the dark and fed shit.

224 in ICU.. tell me again that omicron is milder based on a month’s worth of data from South Africa 🙄 .. if 4x the amount of people are catching it, it doesn’t matter if it’s milder. They cancel each other out. Hospitals still only have so many beds.

CBC. Stop reporting numbers that are a massive under representation of actual cases without acknowledging the gross understatement. Cases are not declining. The Ontario government has decided NOT to count most cases so reporting cases means little. Stop misleading Ontarians.

We are far beyond the numbers of 2020-21 per day. The most vulnerable of our population are the 1.2 million children in Ontario that are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated & yet, we are preparing to reopen schools. How does this make sense? Where is 'Think of the kids?'
