Ontario is reporting a slight decline in the number of new COVID-19 cases but says unavailable data from Toronto yesterday has resulted in the numbers being underestimated.

Health officials reported 78 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the provincial total to 40,367.

"Updated data from the Toronto Public Health CORES system were not available today, resulting in an underestimation of the daily case count," the province said. There were no new deaths in the previous 24-hour period. The number of resolved cases jumped by 99 cases. This is a developing news story. More information to come.

case numbers don’t mean jack shit anyway, so, we’re good

They’re warned to be underestimated every day. Shouldn’t affect the trend.

Hahahhahaj 50% of test are false positives. So if anything i bet number are overestimated...

Just a week ago we where told half the positives where false now your saying that the numbers maybe higher. Come on noone believes your shit anymore. Besides the few cattle you heard up on here.

Maybe the numbers were underreported or undercounted unless you and your editor believe that the daily numbers are usually based on 'estimates'.
