Her comments were made less than an hour apart

An Ontario minister contradicted herself Monday, an hour after she said there were no issues with staff numbers in long-term care — and then denied she made the original statement.

said in question period. “Our homes are doing well with staffing. There are no issues with staffing collapse in our homes.”“To be clear, I don’t believe I’ve ever said there are no staffing issues,” she said when asked by HuffPost Canada how she knew homes had adequate staff.

She lied.

Again. Why is this incompetent still employed?

Our powers-that-be continue to fail us. As long as their family aren’t affected ... as long as they get overpaid ... as long as the story fades away ... they will continue to hose the workers (primarily women- surprise surprise) and the families.

Maybe if the job paid a decent wage, they wouldn't have this shortage of staff. Why would people want to do that kind of work or risk their lives with the risk of COVID-19 for virtually minimum wage?
