The Nova Scotia SPCA gave away free pet food to people in Pictou County on Giving Tuesday. From left are Nova Scotia SPCA Development Officer Creston Rudolph, Marsha Sobey and Jaqueline Sobey. Marsha Sobey is campaign chair for the new North Nova SPCA building that's going to be constructed in Stellarton.The Nova Scotia SPCA spent some time giving back to pet owners in Pictou County on “Giving Tuesday” Nov. 29.

“It’s not meant to be a long-term option, but at the same time people go through difficult times in their life and we want to make sure they stay together with their pets.”
