WUHAN — A growing number of imported coronavirus cases in China risked fanning a second wave of infections when domestic transmissions had “basically been stopped,” a senior health official said on Sunday, while eased travel curbs may also add to domestic risks.
But the world’s most populous country has since won praise from the World Health Organization for its efforts to lock down affected areas and isolate patients. Airlines have been ordered to sharply cut international flights from Sunday. And restrictions on foreigners entering the country went into effect on Saturday.
On a cold and rainy Sunday, Wuhan streets and metro trains were still largely empty. The Hubei government said on its official WeChat account that a number of malls in Wuhan, as well as the Chu River and Han Street shopping belt, would be allowed to resume operations on Monday. All airports in Hubei resumed some domestic flights on Sunday, with the exception of Wuhan, which will open to domestic flights on April 8. Flights from Hubei to Beijing remain suspended.
The first wave never ended. Fake news.
Explain to me how a country of 1.4 Billion people has only 81,000+ cases (and holding) and a recovery rate of 93%? They're lying.
Sure
ChinaLiedAndPeopleDied: 1. China hid reports of the virus for weeks. 2. China targeted the whistle-blowers. 3. China destroyed test samples of patients. 4. China lied to the world about the seriousness of the situation & death toll.
Oh so they're going to blame their next 100000 cases in the upcoming weeks? days? on foreign countries. Makes sense.
Exporting plastic faster plus more masks for break outs sneeze guards and a napkin for a six foot nan eating chicken . The rush to cure a virus seems to have been lost on a rush to supply themselves a profit . It’s been handled beetovan
Of course as they are responsible for all this. They have been covering up since October/November and now what, people are dying in every corner of the world. Stop Investing in China!
