In the first NLL game played at the downtown arena since the Thunderbirds’ season opener on Dec. 3, Albany netminder Doug Jamieson made 51 saves as the FireWolves were outshot 61-47 overall. “Lacrosse is all about runs,” Armstrong said. “They had their runs and we had ours. That one goal we got in the third gave us a spark and the crowd got us going again. This crowd is special for us and they kept us in the game.”
