Not only LTC...now schools.. stores and homes...

I wonder how much input nurses and PSW’s had. Understaffing a massive issue. Our elderly deserve better. birgitomo

Just where might these new outbreaks come from if all the staff is VXd? You know it's not coming from me, the unVXd one. After you clear the VXd staff ( tough assignment no doubt ) we are going to have to examine the vaccines themselves of course. Includes the flu shot. 💉🐀 🍻

'I feel forgotten': Patients in Ontario wait for surgeries postponed due to COVID-19 | CBC NewsThe backlog of health-care services has grown 'quite substantially' during the pandemic, but backlogs and wait-lists have been an issue for decades, says one Toronto doctor. I think it’s time to rethink/redesign our health care model. We need to include more privatization. Obviously the universal system isn’t cutting it. We can do better and we need to do better. Not against universal health care but our current model is not working Decades of defunding at both federal and provincial levels left healthcare poor even before the pandemic. Tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires that is so cool 😒 It’s so easy to claim that the woes felt across the country are not due to insane bureaucratic meddling and ineptitude but are actually because of the pandemic. There are many examples of third world countries with a better Covid response than Canada.

Boston hospital denies heart transplant to patient not vaccinated against COVID-19 | CBC NewsA Boston hospital is defending itself after a man's family claimed he was denied a new heart for refusing to be vaccinated against COVID-19, saying most transplant programs around the country set similar requirements to improve patients' chances of survival. Next in line please Does this clown not realize that contracting an infection during surgery is a higher probability than acquiring a side effect from the vaccine? There were many new borns during pandemic, and there were no immunization requirements by hospitals. Why now? Don not blame the program itself, it’s the evil spirits who made the decision. Do the program also requires flu shot for each patient?

Some Ontario teachers refuse work over school COVID concerns | CBC NewsSome teachers say they're concerned about lack of information on cases now that the province has cut back on testing and contact tracing, as well as ventilation standards and student mask quality. Question for these teachers, do they see an epidemic of illness in the retail space in which these workers are in contact with a much larger section of the population in a far less controlled space? It’s time to stop whining and punishing children and move on or change careers In any society, you will have people on both side of the fence. It looks like the vast majority are happy to teach now that they got triple vax. Quit. Apply for Bell Canada and do customer service. You can work wfh. Oh but you won’t since your salary is over 100k.
