New Brunswick Police Kill Indigenous Mom During ‘Wellness Check’

New Brunswick police fatally shot a 26-year-old Indigenous woman Thursday after being called to perform a “wellness check.”

“There would have had to have been something that he saw that would have completed the picture of a hostile encounter we would have had to protect himself like he did.”“When I first heard about it, that was my first thought: ‘This was racially motivated,’” Martin said. “We’ve been dealing with police brutality for a number of years… I know in my own family it’s been going on for a long time.”

Unfortunately no body cares in Canada, we’re too busy protesting black lives with the Americans.

I am sure the cops could have gotten the knife away from her. Unnecessary to shoot her.

How does this happen?

We are no better in Canada - how does a welfare check possibly end with a woman being killed? This has to stop!!! We need to admit that changes are needed everywhere!

The sad Part is that this is New Brunswick and its corrupt to the core. You got New Brunswick RCMP investigating New Brunswick Cops. No body cam just the cops word. Cops never lie, right?...I dont expect real justice for this woman unfortunately.

It's almost like they are trained to use the most deadly force at even the slightest inkling of anxiety.

Cops straight up love murdering people

Perhaps it is not a good idea for the police to do wellness checks.

Why does this have to happen?
