During a live Q&A on Thursday, Kenney offered up a solution to Quebec Premier François Legault’s concerns: support pipelines.
Earlier Thursday, Legault called the ongoing Canadian National Railway strike an “emergency” and said if workers and the union don’t reach an agreement soon, Quebec could soon run out of propane. "While we are concerned about the impact of a work stoppage on Canadians, we remain hopeful they will reach an agreement," she wrote in a statement.
Savage went on to say that any disruption to the "170,000 barrels of Western Canadian oil" CN Rail ships per day "would have serious consequences for an economy that is already dealing with severe bottlenecks due to cancelled and delayed pipelines."
Kenney has a God complex, truly a Mental Disability or Disorder, all Politicians should be subjected to Mandatory Testing previous to being allowed to hold a position of Power not only at the fed level, but at the level of each Prov & Terr
I wonder if he has the strategy because he is nearsighted.
Oh my!
That’s funny since the proposed pipelines are for oil. I hope the strike lasts long enough to develop trade with anybody but the dumbass west.
jkenney ...blow it up your _ss!
Quebec is so keen on what their great benefactor has to say.
They have one. It comes from Sarnia. And the other gas pipeline was converted to move oil. I have a suggestion for Quebec. Electric heaters.
Sorry, but let them freeze in the dark...
His hemorrhoids look like they are bothering him!
The rest of Canada has a suggestion. RenewableJobs and a sustainableEconomy Time to end dependence on fossil fuels so this never happens again! Why lock Canadian citizens into dependence on Alberta? Look at what Jason Kenney is doing to his own citizens! UCPcorruption
For chissakes, we're all Canadians. How stupid do ya gotta be not to know that anti-pipeline rhetoric emanates mainly from the states who love our cheap oil that they can refine down there for resale at a huge markup overseas.
Time for Quebec to separate & stop trying to impose their will on the rest of Canada!
I have a suggestion too, stock up on tea candles.
I thought Quebec was on it's own island! But still want Canadian resources, lol... Choose a path!
Wow you guys need to stop pointing fingers at “all Albertans” as not all of us share same views. Maybe it’s time we work TOGETHER as a Country instead of this malicious divide. truth TiredOfHypocracy Alberta HadEnough Canpoli
Hard to believe there isn’t a better or faster way to get propane to Quebec so they don’t freeze this winter,
So if the parliament convenes to get propane flowing in Quebec, but not to get the wests commodities to market really shows where the liberals, block, and ndp loyalties stand. Let Quebec freeze!!!!
Actually there is plenty of oil and gas in the eastern Gaspe region that has as much oil as Alberta, The petrogeologists are just to dumb to look for it there. The whole area surrounding the Gulf of St. Lawrence is full of oil and Gas.
O’Canada now has two provinces that believe they are “Special, Unique, Distinct, cherish their culture and deserve special recognition, eh ?
TransCanada already pipes LNG to QC Need a hook up and change furnace burner orifices
Correct! And stop your perpetual whining!
It is shocking that Quebec has such little reserve of a natural resource so vital to the province. Quebec government has itself to blame on so many levels
Right on man 👍from Ont !!!!
This little guy loves the attention.
Hes so smart the Kenney. 🙄
What happened to there wind mills!
Love this Premier. No bullshit. Goes straight through the front door. About time we had leadership like this. UCP jkenney abpoli AbLeg
How about stories of the safety issues on the table? Ok sell UCP propaganda instead
It’s almost as though Kenney and Trudeau are in a race for the bottom.
