If good governance by sunny delusion was a thing, Justin Trudeau would not currently be in second place in the polls

In mid-June 2015, before that year’s federal election campaign began in earnest, Justin Trudeau released a package of 32 promised democratic and government reform measures.

The Green Party has moved into double digits in most polls, suggesting Singh had better move quickly on his third-party promises before they become fourth-party commitments. It might not have been a great idea to release so much so soon — particularly when there is a plethora of other news . The section on “Taking better care of each other” suggests a healthcare expansion that would cover Canadians “from head to toe,” including mental health, dental care, eye care and infertility treatment.

One of the other glittering prizes on offer in the platform is a promise to cap cell phone bills to the global average, a move the industry says would hurt rural coverage, negatively impact new entrants to the market and stifle the $26 billion in new investment needed to build out the 5G network. “The current model works,” said one telecom executive, pointing to a 52-per-cent decrease in Canada’s price per gigabyte of data between 2014 and 2018.

NDP promise of universal pharmacare by 2020 'not realistic': Health ministerThe federal NDP's promise to deliver a national universal pharmacare plan by 2020 is 'not realistic,' according to Health Minister Ginette Petitpas Taylor, who couldn't say what year the Liberals would propose to deliver the program. Universal Health Care Is Realistic, other Countries have Universal Health Care. We all know NDP can’t count. Big pipe dreams but no sense. How about your boss promising a balanced budget for 2019, was it realistic?

Jagmeet Singh rolls out promise-heavy NDP platform for fall federal electionThe plan is heavy on traditional left-wing promises, including a national $10-billion-per-year pharmacare program and increased taxes for corporations and the wealthy, while being short on cost estimates and details for its slew of promises globepolitics I think the correct term is 'bribe-heavy' globepolitics Whatever... globepolitics “ban on replacement workers in labour disputes” In other words, ban unemployed people from working during s labour dispute, and inconveniencing consumers. One of many terrible plans from the NDP.

NDP eyes sweeping healthcare coverage and universal pharmacare for 2019 federal electionMoney from taxes on the wealthy and closing tax loopholes will pay for commitments to health care, housing and climate change The Liberals are going to run with the same thing basically, making the NDP platform irrelevant because Singh is a terrible leader. Can't say I am surprised I expect per the Trudeau 'Liberals' and NDP to offer lots of really expensive bribes with other peoples money in order to buy votes Yeah, funded by a capital gain inclusion rate of 75%? Nah, I’m good.

NDP promise to expand universal health care, starting with national drug planThe federal NDP says if it is elected this fall it will expand Canada's health-care system, starting with fast-tracking a universal drug plan to ensure a late 2020 start date. You can’t start something sooner that provinces haven’t signed up for. Very naive promise on NDP ‘s part. What would be more realistic is helping people without drug coverage now. The feds can do that immediately, but the Liberals prefer to make it an election issue. cdnpoli Explain to me why Gov healthcare plans always start with drug companies? (don't worry I already know the answer) Why not start with a national nutrition and fitness program? Oh right my bad.. that might discriminate against the twinkie addicts! That is a very nice hat.
