did not participate in pre-game warmups and appear unlikely to play tonight in Game 4 of the Jets’ Qualifier Series against the Calgary Flames.Scheifele left the Jets’ Game 1 loss to the Flames early in the first period after a collision against the boards with Matthew Tkachuk. The Jets’ star centre was in visible pain immediately after the collision and had to be helped off the ice because he couldn’t put any weight on his left leg.

Both Scheifele and Laine saw specialists last Sunday to further evaluate their injuries. Neither played in Game 2 or 3 of the series.
