‘They know that if these families … put the blame on the Islamic Republic, the whole of society in Iran would be united against the Islamic Republic’

They’ve been told not to talk to the media, keep their mourning as private as possible and even publicly praise the regime that mistakenly shot down their loved ones’ airliner.

One mother received a visit from security officers after she openly pleaded for help from Canada and a video of her outburst went viral, says a U.S.-based Iranian journalist. Most of the reports could not be independently verified by the National Post, but details are similar between them, and aspects of one case are documented on video.

After initially denying any culpability, Iran admitted it mistakenly shot down the jet with anti-aircraft missiles last Wednesday. Of the 176 victims, 57 were Canadian citizens and 81 others headed to this country, many to continue post-secondary studies after the Christmas break. The person said the officials told the family they should not invite a lot of people to the mourning ceremony in their house, and that two government representatives would attend “to make sure everything is going on according to our scenario.”

He said his son always wanted to return to Iran after finishing his Canadian studies, and asked “how can we not pay attention to the words of Iran’s great supreme leader?” Hamid Mo, an Iranian-Canadian businessman in Toronto, said friends of other victim families in Iran have told him they were instructed not to talk to outside journalists.

WTH

I hope they informed JustinTrudeau first SajjanMustGo

Is that Trump's fault too?

notaplanecrash

It’s because Feminist Trudeau used Iranians as Paper Canadians as a spy network in Iran and risked these people’s lives, this had cause and if Trudeau was more responsible this would most likely not happened imo

BECAUSE IRANIAN REGIME ARE TERRORISTS!!!

You dishonour the airline, the brave pilots who must have fought to the last second to save their passengers and the manufacturer by calling it a plane crash. It was shot down by Iran. And you know that. 🙄 You are using their grief to make a political statement. Shame.

But Liberal MP OmarAlghabra said '....the Iranian president has given assurances.” LOL The Trudeau 'Liberals' dont have the courage or integrity to stand up for Canadians They are already trying to bribe these families with their own money

PahlaviReza jaredkushner Not something new. They harrased Zahra Kazemi's family, Neda's family and many more. This monstrous bloody-hands' gov is master of creating Kaos & fear to control. That is why they shot down the plane creating fear among their other agent from leaving.

And Trudeau is doing what ?

Why would Trump do that?
