The Islanders have acquired veteran defenceman Andy Greene from the Devils.

The 37-year-old is averaging about 20 minutes per game this season, recording two goals and 11 points. Greene was signed as a free agent by the Devils from Miami University and spent 14 seasons with New Jersey.

Quenneville was selected by the Islanders in the seventh round of the 2016 NHL draft, 200th overall. The 21-year-old has one goal and six points in 18 games with the AHL’s Bridgeport Sound Tigers this season. He’s also recorded two points with the ECHL’s Worchester Railers during the 2019-20 campaign.
