The difference between wave 1 & 2 is during wave 1 there was a LOT of cases in LTC facilities & the older populations. During wave 2 it is the younger population. Covid19 is serious and is proven to be deadly to our elders, why wouldn't we want to protect our grandparents?

Positive cases exist with or without testing. Better to know where they are than to go about spreading COVID everywhere. But you can test negative and be positive by the time you get your results - depending on choices you make.
